Il Capolavoro (The masterpiece) is a monumental frieze by Arturo Dazzi (Carrara 1881- Pisa 1966) dedicated to “wealth and triumphant national well-being”, weighing 7 tons, 11 meters long and 2.5 meters high, which adorned the public hall in Bank of Italy “Palazzo Nuovo ”, in the Roman Parliament Square. Today the work has been placed in the entrance hall of the historic headquarters of the Italian Cambi Office, in via Quattro Fontane, in Rome.
