The Muddenahalli Hospital, a project of the Prashanthi Balamandira Trust—a non-profit foundation devoted to improving education and the well-being of underprivileged children—is the largest free hospital complex in the world, inspired by the teachings and vision of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Born in 1926 in a small Indian village, Sai Baba became a beloved spiritual and humanitarian leader whose message, “Love All, Serve All,” laid the foundation for his philanthropic work in education, healthcare, and clean water initiatives.
The marble statue dedicated to him, an impressive six-meter-tall work, now welcomes visitors and patients in the hospital’s main hall.
The creation of this monumental sculpture represents not only an artistic achievement of great significance but also a milestone for LITIX, confirming its leadership in the field of large-scale marble works—considering that Michelangelo’s David stands just over five meters tall. For this specific project, LITIX developed a new robotic model, ONE MEGA, completing the company’s upper range: a robot mounted on tracks, designed specifically for large-scale sculptural production.
This commission stands as recognition of both the artistic and technological excellence achieved by LITIX and its commitment to contributing to humanitarian projects of global reach. The decision to entrust such a meaningful work to LITIX reflects the trust and admiration the world places in its unique capabilities. The statue of Sai Baba, symbolizing peace and hope, is destined to become a landmark within the hospital, offering inspiration and solace to all who enter.
